CSCI 245 Life, Computers, and Everything is an applied ethics course focused on computer technologies. It explores how computers fit into modern life and provides opportunities for the critical analysis of their societal impacts. This student-centered course is structured around in-class activities, discussions, presentations, and written work. For Computer Science majors, the course meets the requirement for CSCI 240 Computers & Society.

The course catalog doesn’t make it clear that this class will meet only four times in the evening, on Mondays, 7:00pm-8:50pm. The course schedule will show in advance when these meetings will happen. If a student happens to discover a conflict with any of these times, they are asked to let the instructor know right away.
